Privacy Policy
Effective: February 2026
Prince Cloud (prince.cloud) is operated by YesLogic Pty. Ltd. This policy describes what data the service handles and how it is treated.
What the service does
Prince Cloud provides an MCP server that converts documents (HTML, Markdown, XML) to PDF. Documents are submitted via the MCP protocol, converted by Prince, and the resulting PDF is returned to the caller.
Data controller
The data controller is YesLogic Pty. Ltd., Melbourne, Australia. For privacy enquiries, contact support@princexml.com.
Document data
Documents submitted for conversion are processed in memory. Generated PDFs are stored on the server for up to 30 minutes to allow download, after which they are automatically deleted. No submitted content is logged, cached, or used for any purpose other than producing the requested PDF.
If a submitted document contains personal data, the service processes that data solely to perform the conversion. The legal basis for this processing is performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or, where no contract exists, legitimate interest in providing the requested service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Server logs
The server records standard HTTP access logs, which may include:
- IP address
- Timestamp
- Request path and method
- HTTP status code
- User-Agent header
These logs are used for operational monitoring and debugging (legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). They are rotated daily and deleted after 14 days. Logs are not shared with third parties.
Conversion metrics
The service records anonymized metrics for each conversion, including:
- Input format (HTML, Markdown, XML)
- Input and output file size (in bytes)
- Whether the conversion succeeded or failed
- Processing duration (in milliseconds)
These metrics do not include document content, IP addresses, or any information that identifies the caller. They are used to monitor service usage and performance (legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Cookies and tracking
This service does not use cookies, analytics, or any form of user tracking.
Infrastructure and international transfers
The service runs on infrastructure provided by Linode (Akamai) in the United States. Data submitted to the service is processed on this infrastructure. Akamai maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses. The data controller, YesLogic Pty. Ltd., is based in Australia.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. The service does not maintain user accounts. Generated PDFs are automatically deleted after 30 minutes, and server logs (IP addresses) are automatically deleted after 14 days. To exercise your rights, contact support@princexml.com.
Changes to this policy
Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
